Patternmaker Mac Ramsey studied traditional foundry pattern making at Letchworth college in conjunction with serving his apprenticeship at Broadwater Mouldings, a large GRP moulding company in East Anglia.

Mac extended his experience producing foundry patterns at Washington Patterns, vacuum forming tools at Surrey Pattern and Mould, wood patterns for GRP moulds at Wallop Woodcrafts and timber moulds and plugs at Green Marine for the composite carbon fibre industry.

Six years ago Mac brought his expertise to the marine industry, heading up a team of patternmakers at Sunseeker, producing all their patterns, plugs and timber moulds for every aspect of an entire 30 metre super yacht.
